As a principal of Eklavya Model Residential School, I am pleased to welcome all the parents and community. EklavyaModel Residential School is a premier, student-centric academic institution that offers a rewarding educational experience to all who choose to focus on excellence. The Ministry of Tribal Affairs has taken up several new schemes over the years for educational upliftment of the tribal people. The introduction of Eklavya Model Residential School since 1997-98 is a novel experimental scheme to provide quality middle and high level education to meritorious tribal students in the remote tribal area of the country. The objective of these schools is to ensure comprehensive physical, mental and socially relevant development of all its students and empowering them to change agent in school, at homes, in the village and in the larger society. EMRS are structured to transmit cultural values of the larger society while facilitating social mobility and promoting social change. Nenson Mondela, Rightly said, “Education is most powerful weapon you can use to change the world.” If there is one thing that can change the world, it is education and EMRS is the pillar of formal education.
Along with providing academics, we aspire to instil values, life skills and habits  that make our students stand out and make a difference in society we provide our students with ample opportunities to develop 21st century skills such as collaboration, teamwork, critical thinking, emotional balance, time management and  much more.
